Tampere-bands join forces for charity single
A group af artists from various Tampere bands have come together to try and do something about the alarming situation with band rooms and recreational facilities being torn down in their local community by releasing a single...
The group, named Tampere Goodwill Rockers, has brought together the likes of Theon, Sammy Black (Lovex), Janne Selo (Uniklubi) and Anthon and Vince (White Flame) among others for a brand new single titled "Let There Be Music". The song can be downloaded for free as it's main objective is to raise awarness of the cause.
"This thing has effected over 50 bands alreay and many of them are just young kids who don't have daytime jobs. We wanted to contribute in some way and this is the way that makes sence to a bunch of longhaired rockers."
The single will be released on the 9th of December and it can be downloaded for free at www.myspace.com/tgr2008
